I feel so incredibly sad.

The kind, compassionate self-help guru, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, whose books have sold more than six million copies, passed away over the weekend at the age of 75.

The remarkable Dyer — who I’ve had the pleasure of hearing speak and meeting three or four times at I Can Do It events presented by our mutual publisher, Hay House — was the author of more than 30 books, including Your Erroneous Zones and Change Your Thoughts — Change Your Life.

Over the years, Dr. Dyer’s influence on me has been huge.  Here are 3 lessons he taught me:

1. If you’ve been burned or betrayed, you can rise above it, write about it and inspire others.
2. You can find “Spiritual Solutions,” as he puts it, to your problems.
3. And you can activate intention to become “a modern-day sorcerer.” as he describes it.

I’m also thankful and honored that Dr. Wayne Dyer showed me tremendous compassion.
