"Kiss A Vet" T-shirt Is Boosting Morale in VA Hospitals Across the U.S.

Nonprofit organization sets up fundraising campaign on Indiegogo.com to help purchase 1000 "Kiss A Vet" T-shirts for ill and injured Veterans

Gina Elise, the granddaughter of a WWII Veteran is on a mission to travel to VA and military hospitals in all 50 states to make personal bedside visits to deliver 1000 "Kiss A Vet" T-shirt appreciation gifts to ill and injured Veterans and recovering troops. With the hope of turning this idea into reality, Elise has set up a group fundraising campaign on the website, Indiegogo.com. "Donors who like this idea of supporting our hospitalized Veterans, can make any donation amount to help me in reaching this goal to deliver 1000 shirts to 1000 Vets," says Elise.

Elise's surprise visits, in the personna of a World War II era pin-up girl bearing the very popular "Kiss A Vet" T-shirt gifts, has done much to boost morale in the VA and military hospitals across the U.S. "These personal visits and unexpected gifts are just what the doctor ordered for patients who are dealing with long, lonely, and often painful hospital stays," says Elise.

Elise has made thousands of personal visits to America's hospitalized Veterans, both young and old, male and female, over the past 6 years. Elise has won numerous community service awards for her work to serve ill and injured Veterans. "I have depended on hundreds of volunteer hours and have worked hard to fundraise since 2006 to make these special visits happen," says Elise. " The best comment I hear in the hospitals is: 'When you are here, my pain is gone!' "

Elise is looking for kind-hearted donors who want to help her bring a smile and some thanks to hospitalized Veterans. "I would kindly ask donors to donate any amount of money on the Indiegogo website that would help me to reach my goal of bringing 1000 T-shirts to 1000 ill and injured Veterans across the U.S."

Interested donors, who want to help Gina Elise in her mission to boost morale and show appreciation to 1000 hospitalized Veterans can visit her Indigogo fundraising campaign at: http://www.indiegogo.com/T-shirtsforhospitalizedvets?a=539245
