5 Books by Gini Graham Scott

While many authors struggle to get one book published by a traditional publisher, author Gini Graham Scott has published 5 books with different publishers – and she helps other writers find publishers and agents.  Plus she has a feature film in release and a second feature in production – and she helps screenwriters and filmmakers find producers, agents, and distributors, too.

Her latest books include Lies and Liars: How and Why Sociopaths Lie And How To Detect And Deal With Them (Skyhorse Publishing in February 2016). Internet Book Piracy (Allworth Press in January 2016), Turn Your Dreams into Reality (Llewellyn), What Kind of Dog Are You? (TouchPoint Press), and The New Middle Ages (Nortia Press). Reflecting her broad interests, the books range from popular sociology and psychology to books on current trends and social issues.

Lies and Liars should be particularly apropos, given the way the politicians running for office are calling each other liars, while The New Middle Ages shows how modern day inequality parallels the vast disparity of rich and poor during the Middle Ages when nobles, royalty and rich merchants lived like today's superrich and the peasants and artisans are like the impoverished masses.  What Kind of Dog Are You? should appeal to the millions of dog lovers, while Turn Your Dreams Into Reality provide techniques for visualizing your goals and making them real.  As for Internet Book Piracy, it describes how to deal with the crisis facing many struggling writers today, who find digital versions of their books stolen and sold or given away for free from hundreds of websites.

Given her success in publishing her own books, Scott provides workshops to others on how to find publishers and agents, as well as market and promote their own books and programs through her latest book on Make More Money with Your Books.  Also, after finding success in producing and finding funding for her own films: Suicide Party #Save Dave and Driver, she has published a series of books on that topic, including Finding Funds for Your Film or TV Project from Hal Leonard and The Complete Guide to Distributing an Indie Film from Changemakers Publishing.
