ResignationLetters.biz has 24 new resignation letters for anyone leaving a job or declining a job offer. The send-offs range from positive and grateful to a few necessarily negative letters, and many are aimed at people leaving specific jobs.
"There are a lot of good reasons to leave a position," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "But the key is to resign in a tactful, respectful way that won't hurt your career further down the line."
Many of the new negative resignation templates handle problematic situations carefully and diplomatically. Employees leaving a job due to a demotion, low salary, no benefits, no child care, or ethical reasons can do so without burning their bridges. There are also resignation letters for military service and departure due to injury, family emergency and marriage.
ResignationLetters.biz has more than 130 resignation samples for leaving jobs, churches, memberships, tutoring programs and schools. It also has several articles that provide handy tips and tricks for writing individual letters. Each template has a sample structure and bolded words that can be replaced with specific information.
All of the resignation letters are free to download and edit using a word processor. Otherwise, users can simply copy and paste the text directly from the website before making adjustments.
"Leaving a job on good terms is a tricky business," Savetz said. "But these examples can help make sure the wording is professional and polite."
ResignationLetters.biz is the sister site of LettersofRecommendation.net, which has 175 letters of recommendation, and CoverLetterExamples.net, which offers near 100 cover letters.
There are more than 90 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
