As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have specific information on the very latest developments in the speaking business. However, as of that time, several trends and technologies were influencing the speaking industry. It's worth checking for updates beyond that date to get the most current information. Here are some trends that were relevant at the time:

Virtual and Hybrid Events: The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of virtual and hybrid events. Speakers started utilizing various online platforms and technologies to deliver presentations, workshops, and keynotes remotely.

AI and Personalization: Some speakers were exploring the use of artificial intelligence to personalize their presentations. This could include tailoring content based on the audience's demographics, interests, or real-time feedback.

Interactive Technologies: Engagement became a key focus, with speakers using interactive technologies like live polls, Q&A sessions, and virtual breakout rooms to involve the audience and create a more dynamic experience.

Augmented and Virtual Reality: While not widespread, some speakers were experimenting with augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to create immersive and memorable experiences for their audiences.

Advanced Analytics: Speakers were increasingly using data analytics to measure the impact of their presentations. This includes analyzing audience engagement, feedback, and other metrics to refine their content and delivery.

Blockchain for Speakers: Some platforms were exploring the use of blockchain to enhance security and transparency in speaker bookings and payments, ensuring fair compensation for speakers and preventing fraud.

Podcasting and Audio Content: Many speakers were leveraging the popularity of podcasts and creating audio content to reach a broader audience. This allowed them to share insights, interviews, and expertise in a format that people could consume on the go.

Emphasis on Sustainability: There was a growing awareness of the environmental impact of events. Some speakers and event organizers were incorporating sustainable practices, such as virtual events to reduce travel-related carbon footprints.

Please note that the information provided here might be outdated, and it's advisable to check more recent sources for the latest developments in the speaking business.
