"Hooked my swing up to the zepp swing analyzer yesterday, the new stuff gained me about 7 mph more on my bat speed!" - text message from pro player Ryan Duva, an online hitting lesson

"You're the first I've seen to successfully articulate and adopt human movement into anything practical. What you've put together is very impressive. Most of what I've come across, even from those in the profession that understand human movement are assessment methods and tools to analyze movement and posture only to sell a few methods to correct dysfunction issues. Few are willing or able to explain human movement the way you have. These principles are the key for both performance and injury management. I appreciate the time and effort you put in to help those looking to perfect their craft and for those of us out their trying to help them" - H. Orlando James ATC, CSCS, NASM-CES/PES

Where Bill Nye The Science Guy meets Babe Ruth...

Professional hitting consultant (for both baseball and softball), JOEY MYERS has worked with Little Leaguers to professional baseball players. He's spent over 10 years in corrective movement researching and studying how to prevent and correct dysfunctional movement patterns.

Joey Myers is the founder of the Hitting Performance Lab, is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the International Youth and Conditioning Association (IYCA), and the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). He's also partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA).

He's a certified Youth Fitness Specialist (YFS) through the International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Vinyasa yoga instructor through Yogafit, AND certified in the Functional Muscle Screen (FMS).

In addition to baseball and softball players, he's consulted with Golfers, Shot Putters, Tennis players, and racquetballers on how to infuse explosive rotational power into their skills using human movement principles backed by proven science.

He can discuss the latest trends and cutting-edge tools related to:
  • Breaking down mechanical changes related to changes in SABR-metrics data from year to year for MLB hitters,
  • How to increase batted ball distance by almost 50-feet loading connective tissue correctly,
  • How to use new technology and the scientific method to prove efficient swing mechanics,
  • How to dramatically increase offensive numbers in the MLB by addressing dysfunctional swing movements, not band-aids such as shrinking the strike-zone or moving in the fences, and
  • How efficient mechanics, slow motion analysis, and SABR-metrics can unlock the potential of any hitter, big or small.
It's NOT how you study, but what you study that counts. Joey Myers applies proven human movement science to hitting a ball. Physicists...Biologists...Bio-mechanical Engineers...and Body Workers. The rules to human movement NEVER change and remain constant.

Joey Myers also promotes his products and services using the latest in internet marketing research. He's grown his YouTube channel organically to almost 2K subscribers in 1.5 years...Grown Facebook "Likes" to his fanpage to over 5K in 1.5 years. "As to the methods there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble" – RALPH WALDO EMERSON
