Steve is a long time public speaker and writer published in newspapers  and magazines. He has extensive experience in education with over 20 years as chairman or member of the schoolboard and multiple terms as a state legislator. In 2014 he was selected as the County Legislator of the Year.

Past and current programs include 'How to work with elected officials', 'The Impact of Jacksonian America', 'Approaches to Problem Solving' and programs of the Leadership Academy targeting a high school student audience. Using strategic planning and 'what if' scenarios Steve and his team are working to maximize limited resources to provide education that meets the individualized needs of the student population in an increasingly challenging environment for public education.
