About:
Dr. Myers is a Child Psychologist and has been licensed in California since 1980. He earned his doctorate from the University of Southern California. Dr. Myers has worked with children, teens, and parents treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and behavior problems. He is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Myers has devoted much of his time to providing parent education as a public speaker, local radio talk show host, and guest expert on local and national radio and television shows. He is managing editor for Parenting Today provided on the internet by Child Development Institute. He is the author of Total Focus (2006) and the upcoming book, The Well-Balanced Family (March 2019). The book provides tools for reducing screen time while increasing healthy activities and family togetherness and improved parent-child relationships.
