About: Stan Weisleder worked as an actuary for most of his life. When he decided to retire it wasn’t to sit on the back porch to watch the grass grow. He became a cop, an author and had his own internet radio program, The View From Over Here, where most of his guests were entertainment personalities. His 23 years with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department were mostly as a reserve Detective with the Child Abuse Unit of Special Victims. As an author he wrote three novels, one play and is presently working on a half dozen screenplays. His first novel is based on his experiences with the LASD and his being the oldest one to have graduated from the Academy.

About: Linda S. Cunningham grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she experienced firsthand accounts of the 1957 Hurricane Audrey that killed nearly 500 people in Cameron, Louisiana. She and her family watched the devastation from their picture window when the hurricane hit. Her father served as Director of Civil defense for Calcasieu Parish and she heard many survival stories and saw the coroner’s pictures that lend authenticity to the novel. Ms. Cunningham has a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Houston. She also has a B.S. and M.Ed. in Health and Physical Education from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She has won awards for screenwriting. She currently resides in Kingwood, Texas.

Full Mortality was nominated for both the Macavity and Agatha Best First Mystery Awards. Sasscer Hill, who has bred race horses for many years, has won several amateur steeplechase events and has ridden in fox hunts for 22 years. Author of several mysteries published in the 'Chesapeake Crimes' Anthology, her articles have appeared in numerous magazines.
