"We Are Being Poisoned For Profit" Warns Dr. Renae Norton
CINCINNATI, OHIO Millions of Americans are suffering from the effects of a deadly modern-day plague, dramatically reducing the quality of their lives and often leading to premature death. The cause of this plague, according to Dr. Renae Norton, is the food we eat.
A leading expert on eating disorders, Dr. Norton has conducted extensive research into the effects of GMO?s, MSG, High Fructose Corn Syrup, chemical additives, and pesticides, leading her to declare that much of the food consumed by Americans is polluted. We are the wealthiest unhealthiest country in the world,? says Norton.
Convenience and perceived cost play a large role in Americans? decision-making process when it comes to what we eat, leading many people to choose processed foods or fast food loaded with pollutants. Unfortunately, the conditions that arise as a result of food pollution often take years to develop, making it difficult for people to make the connection between what they eat and their chronic illnesses and weight problems.
Then there is the American affection for sweets and snacks. ?We are the original instant gratification nation," says Norton. ?The fact that there are nearly 10 teaspoons of GMO sugar in every can of Coke, rendering it a virtual poison, is below the radar of the average American.?
?There is a small but growing number of people who consciously avoid polluted foods and see significant improvements in their health as a result, stresses Dr. Norton, I have patients who were facing forced retirement that are now living normal healthy lives. But most people do not realize that their food is damaged or that their eating is disordered. The problem is we are being poisoned for profit and we just don't know it.?
