Women Are Creating Success Through Persuasion, Power, and Presence

Valparaiso, Indiana, September 6— Dr. Danita Johnson's fourth book, The Women's Little Purple Book for Leadership: How to Create Success through Persuasion, Power and Presence became an instant international bestseller on Amazon with over one thousand downloads of the eBook in a single weekend, hitting #1 in 9 categories, including Women in Business.

Dr. Johnson supports women in breaking through their barriers and gaining confidence in their roles as leaders. "I show women how to magnify confidence, gain empowerment, and succeed by using persuasion, power, and their personal presence," said Dr. Johnson.

She grew up in Gary, Indiana, and has been working in healthcare for 35 years. She is currently CEO of Edgewater health, which offers services for mental health, addictions, pediatrics, family medicine, genecology, and more. She now also travels and speaks at business conferences on effective and ethical leadership, and how women can kick through that glass ceiling and become powerful leaders in today's world.

"As a woman CEO, and a woman in leadership, there are some unique challenges that confront us relative to opportunity, acceptance, and mentorship. We don't have all the support that men do."

For women, leadership is never a One-size-fits-all roll. "But an essential skill that can set all women apart in their career is the ability to sell … their inspiration, their strength, and their vision for the organization, employees and themselves," says Dr. Johnson.

With the support of Dr. Danita Johnson, and The Women's Little Purple Book for Leadership as a guide, the path becomes clear, and obstructions disappear.

Her previous bestselling book, The Unapologetic Woman, reveals that one of the key factors that held women back in moving into leadership was in believing that all would recognize one's leadership abilities. Now, she pulls back the insider's curtain to deliver a step-by-step essential guide for today's businesswoman to become an effective leader and reach greater heights.
