For nonprofits- practice, practice, policy, principles and new horizons in 2018 and some started in November at class. This means for example you can see a local nonprofit such as the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles's "Literally Healing program" on youtube compassionate programming on today's web. You can learn at class or online how to move forward. You can hear about what others are doing and start your own hands-on activities with your team and your figures.
When the field gets diverse, the serious get going, small, new, old, or big. New Education Options is trying new technology with Office Accelerator, Network for Good, Data Arts, ESpeaker, and online auctions. All in the works, nonprofits either now at this week's NAMM or locally are applying tools like Guidestar, updating Great Nonprofits, creating members, followers, fans and showing how they make a difference to the audiences they serve if not planning who they will serve.
For example, The Grantsmanship Center supports nonprofits with continuous training and grant writing breakthroughs (thanks to support from the Annenberg Foundation).
If you missed the conference application for this year's Anaheim NAMM, remember the best is just beginning you can go to classes under your Arts Council, local SBDC, in programs in Greater LA. Find a way to capture your impact and to get resources, capital, supplies, instruments. Make it up, join a team and make it a great 2018.
