Discover Why Most Motivational Speakers Are Starving

Robin Jay is the president of the Las Vegas Convention Speakers Bureau ... and she knows why most motivational speakers are starving. "They don't understand how this business works or what it takes to monetize it and earn thousands every time they speak," she explains. "If your dream is to become a PAID speaker, you can achieve it," Jay says, "IF you are willing to take the time to learn how to get it. Then, making large amounts of money as a speaker is easy."

Jay adds, "Most motivational speakers believe that the key to earning more as a speaker lies in getting listed with as many speakers bureaus as possible. I know this because I hear from speakers every week. They want to get listed with the bureau, hoping the exposure will help them to get booked for more speaking engagements. While this can be a small part of a marketing strategy, the real money for speakers comes from a genuine understanding of the industry and what it takes to monetize a speaking career.  If you are a speaker, the answer to earning thousands every time you speak lies in a formula of science and psychology. I will show a select number of speakers how to do this at my Millionaire Speakers Boot Camp."

"Surprisingly," adds Jay, "earning $10,000 per speech is not based on talent. When you speak to people, you want to speak to their beliefs and paradigms. And, a great deal of the information you share needs to be presented in a certain way."

"This is the first chance I've had in years to share this information," said Jay, who has been busy writing and producing the first funny self-help film, The Keeper of the Keys, starring Jack Canfield, John Gray, and Marci Shimoff. Jay knows a lot about success in her industry; her film just won the Las Vegas Film Festival award for Best Independent Film, and earlier won The Indie Fest award for Feature Documentary.

Jay shares a little-known truth about the three categories of speakers: "There are three classes of speakers.
  • There are public speakers. These are people we know – people who have accomplished something tremendous in business or who have made history, such as politicians or astronauts or even actors. They are famous for who they are. They are typically billed as the keynote speaker and they earn between $15,000 - $100,000 every time they speak.
  • There are general speakers. This category includes nearly everyone who wants to speak, who wants to share their story, and who has something to say. They use the platform to teach and to educate. This is the largest category. You do not have to be famous to fit into this category. An experienced 'general speaker' can earn as much as $10,000 for a great speech. And then,
  • There are PAID speakers. These speakers will speak 'for free,' yet will earn between $10,000 - $150,000 every time they speak. THIS is the premiere category for speakers. In my Millionaire Speakers Boot Camp, I will share how anyone can become a paid speaker and earn thousands every time they speak."
Jay will host the Millionaire Speakers Boot Camp as an intense, 1-day program in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. Jay says the information she will share in this boot camp is truly the best kept secret in the speaking industry. She says, "I hear every week from speakers who are out there waiting for the call to come in from a meeting planner or bureau for a $1K, $5K, or $10K keynote. Or, they work diligently to create that one special keynote that will put them ahead of thousands of other speakers. It's sad to hear from so many speakers who don't understand how this industry really works. As a mentor, I love showing speakers how to make more money than they ever dreamed of by doing what they love to do, speaking."

The Millionaire Speakers Boot Camp will be presented as a 1-day intense program and the tuition is $597. Jay shares, "This was originally a two-day program that I offered at $1497. However, everyone is so pressed for time these days, plus money is tighter than ever for many people. I know that the original tuition of $1497 made this information unattainable for many people … particularly those who need it the most. By making it a 1-day program, I am able to reduce the cost to less than half. And, the information I'm going to share is so powerful, most speakers can't afford NOT to attend! This program will show any speaker on any topic how they can earn thousands every time they speak."

Jay is also excited to have two very special guest speakers at the boot camp: Gloria Loring – former star of Days of Our Lives and mother of pop sensation Robin Thicke, plus Kathryn Peters-Brinkley, famed author, speaker, life coach, and publisher of Kinetics Magazine.
