Thank you for becoming a part of the AuthorYOU Community. The community consists of authors, independent publishers, author service providers, and publishing experts. AuthorYOU is where authors go to become seriously successful. We are a nonprofit author resource organization dedicated to providing education, resources, and networking opportunities to help you get your book out into the world, and market it for success.
To truly become a successful author you need to understand that this is a commitment, an investment, and a lot of hard consistent work. You need to understand that writing the book is an easy part. Swimming through the murky waters of countless soggy books that are published every year, while avoiding the publishing predators waiting to gobble up you, your money and your hard work, is the hard part. But you can do it, and we are here to guide you every step of the way, and when I say us, I mean us a community.
The greatest inspiration for me to complete my first book was simply getting involved, hanging out with other others, participating in the webinars and events, tuning in to Judith’s weekly podcast. The encouragement and comradery here have been life changing for me in the pursuit of my dreams.
I have learned that your success as an author is wholly dependent on your participation, your constant pursuit of knowledge in the ever-changing publishing world, your consistency in book marketing, social media campaigns, blogging, building your publishing platforms, networking, speaking, and of course your continued writing.
