Add some tequila, Italian desserts, love songs, opera and LGBTQ+ artwork to your Valentine’s celebration this weekend. Mosaic Theater’s multicultural rom-com is wrapping up and American Ballet Theatre has danced into town with “Giselle.” Sunday options include ikebana and chili eating. Final Performances: ‘Pilgrims Musa & Sheri in the New World’

Winner of the Steinberg New American Play Award, this romantic comedy by Yussef El Guindi follows Musa, a new immigrant from Egypt, as he picks up Sheri, a boisterous, quirky waitress, after her shift. Shirley Serotsky directs this Mosaic Theater Company production. Final performances at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H St. NE, are: Thursday, Feb. 13, and Friday, Feb. 14, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at 3 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $65. Valentine’s Day Tequila Tasting

Cielo Rojo Restaurant, 7056 Carroll Ave. in Takoma Park, Maryland, will hold seatings at 6 and 8 p.m. for a 21+ tasting of G4 tequilas on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14. Reception: ‘My Queer Valentine’

This free Valentine’s Day event — on Friday, Feb. 14, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Torpedo Factory Art Center, 105 N. Union St. in Alexandria, Virginia — starts with a reception for “My Queer Valentine,” a playful but poignant exhibition exploring non-heteronormative relationships. Valentine’s Ball at Italian Embassy

Also on Friday, Feb. 14, at 8:30 p.m., this magical evening for couples and singles at the Embassy of Italy, 3000 Whitehaven St. NW, will feature Italian desserts, an open bar, a live orchestra, a late-night DJ, dancing, movies and a presentation of opera excerpts including the balcony scene from “Roméo et Juliette,” set in Verona. Presidential Family Fun Day

On Saturday, Feb. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Eighth and F Streets NW, will host a free Presidents’ Weekend fun day of crafts, music, dancing, games and special tours of “America’s Presidents.” The Washington Nationals’ Racing Presidents and experts from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing will be on hand. JazzFest Party at DC Defenders Game

ABT Family Dance Workshop

Chefs from the Midlands, DC Reynolds, the Looking Glass Lounge, Cinder BBQ, Here’s The Scoop of DC, Howard University’s NuVegan Café, Just AJ’s and Sweet Sosumba Jamaican Vegan Cafe will compete for the People’s Choice Award. Washington’s Birthday at Mount Vernon
