WANT TO SEE YOURSELF IN A MOVIE? THIS MOVIE IS ONE YOU ARE IN RIGHT NOW, HIGHLIGHTING YOU AND THE REST OF MANKIND SMOTHERED IN THE GRIPS OF A PANDEMIC THAT IS ALLEGED TO BE SO DANGEROUS THAT WE ARE NOW LOCKING DOWN THE WHOLE WORLD. NOT LIKE THIS MOVIE? TOO BAD!!! THAT’S THE WAY IT IS…
WELL, I GUESS YOU DON’T KNOW THAT THERE’S ANOTHER MOVIE ON THE SAME SUBJECT.
HERE’S ONE SCENE, AGAIN, INVOLVING YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS RIDING ON A BUS, WITH TWO LAYERS OF FABRIC WRAPPED AROUND YOUR FACES. TEARS DAMPEN THE MASKS AS YOU AND THE OTHERS REALIZE THEIR BUSINESSES AND JOBS ARE LOST AND THEIR LIVES ARE LOCKED DOWN.
BUT, THEN, SUDDENLY THEY START TO LOOK AROUND. WHEN ONE OF THEM TELLS THE OTHERS ABOUT A NEW MOVIE… WHEN THEY HEAR IT’S A DOCUMENTARY… THEY THINK- PROBABLY BORING. BUT STILL THEY BEGIN TO CHATTER EXCITEDLY. ANY MOVIE, ANY MOVIE WOULD BETTER THAN THIS STUPID THING… AND THERE’S YOUR FRIEND- HE HAS SAVED IT ON HIS PHONE.
WHY DON’T YOU WATCH IT WITH THEM?
TAKE A GOOD LOOK. FOR SOME PEOPLE, THIS DOCUMENTARY WILL CHANGE THEIR LIVES.
Now, we know more about what’s happening- we need to realize that just because a few eyes have opened, we have a lot to do. Although some of those in power long for their desired end game, we haven’t reached it yet- and if it’s the destination the powerful elite in charge of things want, we really don’t want to be there. If this were a film, I think it would be a sci fi one, blended with a great deal of fantasy, leaning towards a horror genre.
Waking up is NOT ENOUGH. For those who want to rest on their laurels and roll up their sleeves- just to take a little jab that will save them- it would be better they roll up their sleeves to take another kind of action. As Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” We must revive and enhance the the early civil rights movement and work together to create initiatives for a better world, elect government officials who will really represent us, hold corporations and media accountable!
