September 12, 2025 - The Washington Opera Society proudly opens its 2025–2026 season with Johann Strauss's effervescent operetta Die Fledermaus on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Austrian Embassy. Guests will enjoy a glamorous evening in one of Washington's most exclusive diplomatic venues. Early admission begins at 6:30 PM for VIPs and Sponsors, including a champagne reception. General admission opens at 7:00 PM, and the performance begins promptly at 7:30 PM. Cocktail attire is encouraged.
