Ruth W Crocker's memoir Those Who Remain: Remembrance and Reunion After War has received the Silver Medal in the 2015 Benjamin Franklin Book Award and is one of three finalists for the Gold Award. The Gold Award winner will be announced during a ceremony in Austin, Texas at a meeting of the Independent Book Publisher's Association on April 10, 2015. Crocker has received recognition for her essays in Best American Essays and is a Pushcart Prize nominee.
