Haven’t heard of WORLDZ yet? If you’re a marketer, entertainer or communicator – or are interested in social impact – you should get to know it. The Ad Council is making its first foray there this year and we’re super excited to get involved.
Co-founded by Roman Tsunder & James Sullos, the goal of the conference is to unite superstars & rising stars to create a better world for tomorrow. Representing more than $110 billion in annual media spending, WORLDZ brings together the most influential minds and brands in the world from Senior Manager to CEO level, allowing unprecedented and 1:1 access to the world’s top cultural Masters.
WORLDZ is hosting their third annual two-day summit on October 17 and 18 this year at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California.
What are the Goodfronts and how can people get involved?
On October 18
th at 10:45 a.m. PST, Roman Tsunder and Ross Martin, the CEO of Blackbird, will launch the WORLDZ Goodfronts. It’s going to be a first-of-its-kind competitive charity marketplace for social good, designed to engineer positive change by connecting the most important causes of today with the resources they need to achieve their mission.
In association with the Ad Council and Ad Age, the WORLDZ Goodfronts is a variation of the popular television “Upfronts,” in which media networks compete for advertising dollars by presenting opportunities for brands to reserve inventory for the year ahead. The WORLDZ Goodfronts are an “action auction” in which social organizations compete for the investment dollars, time, talent and platforms that can drive meaningful impact.
Host SuChin Pak will introduce presentations by the Gun Safety Alliance, St Jude Children’s Hospital, Love Has No Labels and the World Food Programme.
During and immediately following their presentations, all WORLDZ participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, offer live feedback and ideas to presenters, and make commitments within their sphere of access and expertise, in person and via the WORLDZ app.
