Good Authoring Day to YOU

It was week #2 for the How to Create an Amazon eBook bestseller—fun, it’s an all “dude” class … the first time I’ve just had guys in one of my classes. We moved fast and got the first session done in 90 minutes. Ditto for #1 the week before. Last weekend, the free AuthorYOU Salons was online—always the second Saturday and for the remainder of 2020, they will be online. October’s will be on the 10th, starting at 9 am MT. To participate, register at https://www.meetup.com/AuthorYOUSalons/ .

The month is half over, and it stuns me to how fast this year is moving. Here in Colorado, we have transitioned out of the wild day last week where we saw temps drop from 94 to 28 degrees over a 24-hour spread bringing in snow and ice—that was a wowsa. I made an immediate decision—I didn’t go out of the house for two days! This week, Indian Summer surrounds us—where we have dry, warm weather that pops up in September. Dinner has been on the deck each evening—wonderful. Yet, I know that the “white stuff” is lurking out there.

With all that said … my head is turning to next year … what will I personally be working on … a new book … a new course … what? And how about you? What I do know is that you must … and it is a “must” … stay visible. Build your influence. And yes, publish something.  My two bits for this Saturday morning.

Friday mornings are the place to be with other authors! I love the Friday coaching that happens early each Friday AM. I always have a “new tip” for the group, then it opens up to “catch up” and “asks”. Become a subscriber so you can get

Friday Coaching for less than a weekly glass of wine; for less than a weekly Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit – Combo at Chick-fil-A; for less than 3 movie tickets! ALERT …we do this on Zoom … you need to connect with me. Only $27 a month—limited amount of subscribers allowed. We gather via Zoom at 7 AM. The dress? Totally casual. Get on board –it’s fun and informative … and you get all questions answered. This is for any author anywhere!

Percussionist Kyungho Jeon, who was born blind, used to think his dream of playing in an orchestra was impossible. So he helped create a new type of baton that lets him feel, rather than see, a conductor’s movements – and now he can play with an ensemble: cnn.it/2YPYZjj
