After the Virtual Author Happy Author, I walked up the street where I lived and joined 60 other neighbors for a tap-tapping evening of the 60s and 70s music.  With our lawn chairs, we were spread out in adjoining driveways, sidewalks, and yup into the street as we spread out to enjoy the talents of my neighbor Phil as he delivered an outdoor driveway jam session. We loved it … all brought their own chairs, drinks, and nibbles. A perfect way to kick off the weekend.

My new shepherd hooks finally arrived to hang baskets of pansies along the border of my lower yard. Bunnies can’t get to them!

Alert to all of you  who are VIP AuthorYOU members … the MAY second Saturday AuthorYOU Salons of the year is slated for June will be either live or virtual. As it gets closer to June 13^th gets closer, decisions will be made. Either way, it starts at 8.30 a.m., ending at 10.30 a.m. That’s Mountain time.

And … my Speaking Unplugged is NOW slated for Friday and Saturday SEPTEMBER 18-19 Denver. Details are on my website under Events: www.TheBookShepherd.com. We will be setting it up for “space” between seats.

Have a good week. We’ve enjoyed have several of our distance friends and neighbors over this past week for dinner on the deck. We’ve all been in the locked-in/down mode for a long time. Opening up is easing in. Lovely to have face to face, with reasonable distance over food and beverage. Whatever you do, do it with care.
