On Saturday, April 28th, The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra (abbreviated as the Phil) will perform the music of Hungarian Composer Erno Dohnanyi at Plymouth Memorial Hall. Including a performance of Russian Composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's piece "Symphony No. 2", the Phil will feature guest cello soloist Meehae Ryo, a night filled with putting on local variations on the combination of gospel, folk, and classical music seen and heard in the work of Dohnanyi and Tchaikovsky.

Titled "Passions Unbound", the concert begins at 7:30 and concludes at 10:30 pm. Tickets cost between $20 and $55. Music lovers of all ages are welcome to attend.

ABOUT THE PHIL: The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1913 by a Kingston-based violin teacher. The musical group became a non-profit program officially in 1973. The Phil offers a scholarship to any high school student in their junior year who is planning on enrolling in a four-year music-oriented college program. Every fall, the Plymouth Public Library hosts a Meet the Maestro event, where people of all ages can come in free of charge and listen to Conductor Steven Karidoyanes discuss the Phil's new season of music and musical guests.
