The Secrets of the Keys is destined to become a top-rated self-help film. The narrative story revolves around Elizabeth, who finds out from her doctor that she may not survive until the end of the year. In a storyline that was inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Elizabeth is visited by her spiritual guide, "Gwen", a character whose name "sort of stands for 'Good Witch of the North,'" explains Jay. "That is," she says laughing, "if you don't get stuck on the iffy acronym. Gwen is played brilliantly by Kathryn Brinkley I wrote the part just for her, and the passion with which she conveyed the messages is a gift. I can't wait for the world's seekers to hear her share the wisdom of the keys."

The "Oz" story inspired Jay to write a powerful personal development film that would reflect a woman's journey to find meaning and purpose, while encountering friends along the way.

Gwen wants to encourage Elizabeth to join her as she helps people to appreciate their lives more - "to do more, be more, and be happier with their lives." Gwen is accompanied by her eager-to-please but ditzy apprentice Goldie, played by real-life Feng Shui Master and Atlanta Real Estate professional Harrah Brown.   

What follows is a series of encounters with various experts from around the world, some whom Elizabeth knows from her work as a motivational speaker; she is introduced to others by Gwen. The casual conversations mostly take place on the grounds of a lush estate overlooking Lake Mead, in Nevada. There is also a mesmerizing scene with John Assaraf that was shot on the dog beach at Camino del Mar, near San Diego. The movie's setting and pace is perfect and the visual backdrops are stunning.

The guides and experts' stories focus on seven keys that are essential to a living a life that matters: Appreciation, Harmony, Courage, Passion, Faith, Vibration, and Empathy. In most cases, the experts share their deepest, most personal stories and moving experiences of how they came to understand the value of embracing the keys.
