The Institute of Management Consultants Announces Prestigious Fellow Award

Loraine Huchler, P.E., CMC® recognized as Fellow of IMC USA (FIMC)

North Palm Beach, FL – The Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA), the largest and oldest professional organization serving professional across consulting disciplines, announces Loraine Huchler as Fellow of the IMC USA (FIMC) designation for her extensive and sustained contributions to IMC USA, and for demonstrating excellence in consulting. With the Fellow designation, Huchler joins a select and elite group of consultants.

"I'm honored to be awarded the Fellow," says Loraine Huchler, P. E., CMC®. "It's the Institute's coveted national recognition to which many aspire and few receive.

"IMC USA has given me the opportunity to hone my business and consulting capabilities and sharpen my leadership skills through seeking elected positions of increasing responsibility during these past 18 years. I served first in the New Jersey Chapter and then at the National level, including Chair and CEO of IMC USA (2013-2015), becoming the 2nd woman to lead the organization. I'm especially grateful to Bill Dorman and John Sturges, who served as my first mentors and role models at IMC NJ in my early years."

About the IMC USA Fellow Award

The FIMC is an honorary designation recognizing a Certified Management Consultant® who has demonstrated outstanding service to clients, to the management consulting profession, to IMC USA over an extended period of time at the national level, and to the broader community.

FIMC award winners have a career history delivering exemplary results for their clients, adhering to a rigorous code of ethics, and contributing to the advancement of the management consulting profession as well as serving organizations in their own communities.

The FIMC nomination process requires at least seven sponsors owning the designation of CMC® and of which three have previously earned the FIMC designation. 

About Loraine Huchler, President, MarTech Systems, Inc.

Loraine Huchler, P.E., CMC® currently serves as Vice-President, Professional Learning for IMC USA. She also serves on the IMC USA Board of Directors as the Immediate Past Chair (2013 – 2015). Her consulting expertise is advising clients on methods to measure and manage risk in their utility water systems in heavy industry and large-scale comfort heating and cooling systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, is licensed as a Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey and recently completed her 12th year as a Certified Management Consultant. Huchler is the author of the industry handbook, Operating Practices for Industrial Water Management: Influent Water Systems, and wrote a column for Hydrocarbon Processing for over 15 years. She won Society of Women Engineers Woman Entrepreneur award and NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business.
