Don Matheson Re-elected Chair and CEO of IMC USA
North Palm Beach, FL – The Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) announced the re-election of its top two officers and the addition of four new Directors. Don Matheson CMC® was elected to a third term as Chair and CEO of IMC USA. Don Matheson is a successful management consultant with a long history of leading 501(c)3, 501(c)6 organizations as well as private sector companies. In addition to numerous leadership roles with IMC USA, he is also the Founding Chair of the IMC USA Foundation.
Don Matheson CMC®, of Greensboro, NC was elected to continue in the role of Chair and CEO of IMC USA. He served as Treasurer the three years prior to his election to IMC USA Chair & CEO in 2015. He also served as Board Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee for four years.
Dennis Schumaker CMC®, PMP, MCSE, of Ann Arbor, MI was re-elected by the IMC membership to continue as IMC USA Treasurer.
Loraine Huchler CMC®, P.E., of Lawrenceville, NJ will continue her board service as Immediate Past Chair of IMC USA and Vice President of Professional Learning.
Don Matheson CMC® is CEO for NorthStar Management and has provided consulting services to management for more than 21 years. NorthStar was originally formed to provide consulting services to companies involved in Mergers, Acquisitions, and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy turnarounds. However, it quickly grew into a powerful resource for any small to mid-sized company looking to improve its operational performance. Don helps CEOs and other C level executives improve their company's financial performance and strengthen their balance sheets while optimizing the utilization of existing resources. His efforts have led to significantly increased corporate profits and the preservation of countless jobs.
Don has served IMC in multiple roles including President of the Carolinas Chapter for four years and as its Certification Chair for six years. Don was elected Founding Chair of the IMC USA Foundation in 2012. He is the recipient of the IMC USA 2013 Achievement Award for his financial expertise, strong leadership and ongoing commitment. Don has extensive Board experience having served on numerous boards including the Georgia Manufacturers Association where he also served as an officer of the organization before relocating to North Carolina. He served six years on the Board of Directors for the Georgia State Chamber of Commerce during that same time period. In addition to serving on the Middle Georgia United Way Board, he was Founding Chair of the Heart of Georgia United Way. Don has served on a number of Business & Economic Councils at the state and national level.
Dennis Schumaker has been an IMC member since 1994 earning his CMC® in 2002. He has participated in numerous national conferences and provided extensive service to the organization in the Michigan area. Dennis is Executive Vice President of Schumaker and Company based in Ann Arbor, MI. Schumaker and Company provides numerous management consulting services including executive management, corporate organization, operations management, strategic corporate planning and information technology.
