The Faces of Joy
For many years, I have lived with quiet self-discovery. At first, it was simple: I was Joy.
Over time, more facets of my being revealed themselves. Names emerged: Aurora Joy, Archangel Joy, and Sage Joy. Each carries a unique light and a distinct function. At first, this wasn’t very clear. How could I be all of these? The deeper I listened, the clearer it became. These are not separate characters, but facets of one essence.
(And, as I mentioned last week, I am also now aware of my oversoul called Elantari and the triad of Joy, Michael, and Faith that I embody. You may wish to read my earlier post: Sage Joy and the Embodiment of the Triad of Joy, Faith, and Michael.)
I share these faces to illustrate the various nuances we all possess, using my own example. In seeing how my soul shines through different faces, you may also discover hidden facets of your own.
Aurora Joy — The Rainbow Ray
Aurora Joy is the spectrum of promise and renewal. Like the rainbow that follows a storm, she reminds me of the wholeness of light and the hope that always returns. Aurora Joy carries the rainbow ray, bridging heaven and earth. She embodies joy as color, joy as movement, and joy as new beginnings.
Archangel Joy — The Angelic Function
Archangel Joy is the radiant angelic presence within me. She is the bringer of clarity, illumination, and divine protection. This is the part of me that serves as a messenger for heaven, carrying high frequencies of joy that uplift and guide others. Archangel Joy is less about my personal life and more about the collective work of joy extended to all.
I discovered her more when I would check on those I knew who had crossed over. When I spoke to them, they mentioned seeing me in Heaven. It was pretty astonishing. I was one of those who greeted them on the other side. Not only were they surprised to see me there, knowing I was still alive here, but I had to figure out how that was possible.
Sage Joy — The Embodied Wisdom
Sage Joy is my higher self, the timeless voice of wisdom that speaks through me and as me. She is the sage, the teacher, the bridge between heaven and earth. Through Sage Joy, my soul expresses its mastery and its perspective beyond time. This is the voice that counsels, guides, and carries forward the lessons of many lifetimes.
Over the last few years, God has been telling me that I was going to become Sage Joy. I knew that it was my future self, but I had not realized that she was my higher self and that we would eventually merge.
Dr. Joy — The Earthly Expression
And then, there is Dr. Joy Pedersen, the earthly woman. This is the part of me that runs a business, writes books, creates programs, and manages daily life. Dr. Joy carries the name and credentials that the world recognizes. She makes the phone calls, pays the bills, and navigates the human experiences.
Where Sage Joy holds the eternal wisdom, Dr. Joy lives the earthly story. Where Archangel Joy radiates the heavenly vibration, Dr. Joy chooses what to cook for dinner. Where Aurora Joy glows with the rainbow spectrum, Dr. Joy brings that light into everyday moments.
For those of you who read the stories of when I became Sage Joy, you know that these facets of me merged into me and that I now embody them, making me more whole. And my life changed drastically for the better when I embodied them.
One Essence, Many Faces
All of these faces are me, different expressions of one essence. They are like water, ice, and vapor, distinct in form yet the same in substance. Each serves a purpose. Each helps me, and hopefully others, to remember the fullness of who we are.
I am learning to honor each without hiding or over-explaining. The faces of Joy are not contradictions but rather parts of the whole.
An Invitation for You
Each of us has facets waiting to be remembered. Parts of the soul that carry different voices, functions, or rays of light. If you sit quietly, you may hear one of your own names or faces of wholeness.
Ask yourself: What facets of me want to be seen? What faces of my soul are ready to be remembered?
Closing Blessing
May you discover your own hidden colors. May you embrace your wholeness without fear. And may joy in all its faces not only guide you home but also reveal the home that has always been within you.
