The Dog Star: Hanging in There

Dogs are pack animals and just like to hang out. My German Shepherd, Bentley, will often lie down on one of the dog beds in the room I’m in, usually my den during the day. But if my wife is also home, and there’s the chance she may be doing something more interesting, he lies in the doorway or the intersections of the halls (were you have to step over him) so that he won’t miss any action.
