Training in the 12 Career Development Competencies

Virtual Live, 10 classes, 2.5 hours, every other week – 3 sessions in 2022. The course is 120 hours total with 10 live classes, research, collaboration, textbook, and assessments. The approved NCDA E-book text is included in the course cost. This course is designed for: Transition and Employment Readiness Specialists, Career Counselors, Employment Counselors, Workforce Professionals, Veterans Employment Specialists

Completion of the Facilitating Career Development covers the 12 NCDA Approved Career Development Competencies to sit for the CSSP and GCDF Curriculum.

Class 3: Career Development Theory and Role of Assessment
Class 4: Role of Assessments
Class 5: Ethics and Multicultural Populations and Business Services for Clients with Disabilities
Class 6: Providing Career Services to Multicultural Populations
Class 7: The Role of Career Information
Class 8: Jobseeking and Employability Skills, including Career Change Strategies
Class 9: Developing and Implementing Career Planning Services and Managing Business Services and Employer Relations
Class 10: Business Services and Employee Relations
