What if three people a day, every day died from something eminently preventable? What if it wasn’t a result of dangerous behavior like smoking, drinking or opioid abuse? Those people have a name college students.
What if you could do something about that? What if you could save a life? What would you do?
What I do, is speak on campus on college suicide prevention.
I just spoke at Montana State University and Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT.
My job is to talk about depression and suicide, signs, symptoms and solutions, and give college students permission to give voice to their feelings and experiences surrounding mental illness, without recrimination, and save lives.
