The Aspirus Heart & Vascular Institute (AHVI) is offering a free seminar on March 2 where people can learn more about atrial fibrillation and an innovative treatment for the heart condition that affects an estimated 2.5 million Americans.

The seminar features nationally known speaker, Mellanie True Hills, an atrial fibrillation survivor who will provide a message of hope and encouragement by sharing her personal story of her battle with the condition.

AHVI surgeon John Johnkoski, M.D., also will provide information about minimally invasive surgery that treats atrial fibrillation and allows people to reduce medications, prevent strokes and live longer.
