Along with the rest of Washington, Georgetown looked to the sky on the Fourth of July — flyovers and fireworks. The new lineup of pyrotechnics along the Potomac made for easy viewing around the city, but especially from the National Mall where crowd attendance was down, it was reported. In Georgetown, fireworks were seen from homes, streets and the Georgetown waterfront.
