Potpourri Books announces the publication of How to Live Like a MILLIONAIRE When You're a Million Short. It's a breezy, information-packed book with scores of useful tips and true-life experiences from author Marilyn Anderson.
Anderson writes in a conversational style, and gives a mountain of ideas and suggestions on ways to enjoy some of the finer things in life, without spending a bundle.
In addition to telling her own personal experiences, Anderson researched exciting things other people did, or deals and steals she didn't know about yet. She says "There are a myriad of articles, blogs, and websites on the Internet relating different ways to save money and buy things inexpensively, but most people don't take the time to investigate the possibilities. So, in writing the book, I tried to put everything in one place, to make it a guide to saving money in lots of categories: entertainment, travel, shopping, fashion, health, beauty, home décor, charity, celebrations, and more."
The author says she can't present everything – the book would be thousands of pages, and she'd never have finished it. So, she doesn't just "give" readers a fish, she also teaches them "how to fish" – that is, how to fish for bargains and deals on their own.
How to Live Like a MILLIONAIRE When You're a Million Short includes tips on how to:
- Get Broadway, Vegas, and local show tickets at super discounts or free
- Wear $2,000 designer dresses for only $50
- Get prescription drugs for less than with insurance
- Go to expensive restaurants for less than half the usual price
- Spend 6 nights at a 4-star resort in Spain for FREE!
Author Marilyn Anderson writes for film and television and has also done travel and entertainment reporting. The book even gives tips on how people can become travel reporters or start their own blog about something they love in order to get trips or other perks.
How to Live Like a MILLIONAIRE When You're a Million Short is currently available in print on Amazon and will be released on April 18th on Kindle. The paperback will be coming out at other retail outlets as well.
