New obituary templates and other resources to download and print have been added to the web site ObituaryHelp.net.
Kevin Savetz of FreePrintable.net started the site in 2014 with dozens of sample obituaries and it has expanded to include programs and invitations for funerals, memorials and other services.
"ObituaryHelp.net aims to make it easier to capture someone's life in writing, or just share essential details about funeral or memorial services," Savetz explained.
The new additions to the site include death notice templates, which are typically shorter and less personal than obituaries.
A new category for eulogies has been added to ObituaryHelp.net. It includes eulogies for a colleague, for a parent, for a sibling and for a beloved pet. There's also a fill-in-the-blanks eulogy and a very formal eulogy.
ObituaryHelp.net also has articles with tips on how to structure an obituary for publication, wording, and dealing with sensitive situations. Just-added articles address writing and giving eulogies as well as sending thank you notes and attending funerals.
Everything at the site is free for personal use. Most of the templates can be downloaded in editable DOC format and edited with Microsoft Word. Or users can simply cut and paste the text directly from the site. The funeral programs and invitations are formatted as editable DOC files.
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
