Joe Ciarallo, who was VP-communications at Salesforce, has joined Toast as VP-communications & PR.
The Boston-based company provides cloud-based software and hardware to restaurants to empower them to increase revenues, improve operations and bolster customer service.
Ciarallo looks “forward to telling Toast’s story as a champion of the restaurant industry and one of the most fast growing and innovative brands in tech,” according to his LinkedIn post.
Prior to joining Salesforce in 2016, Ciarallo was VP-communications at Buddy Media, founding editor at PRNewser, account supervisor at Horn Group and account executive at D S Simon Productions.
Toast, which launched in 2013, has more than 2,000 employees.
