The 2020 San Francisco Writers Conference will take place over President’s Day Weekend (February 13-16, 2020) at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. We are already hard at work putting together a remarkable conference for all writers. As always, the event will feature a wide array of bestselling authors, literary agents, editors, and publishing industry luminaries.

The three keynoters for the next San Francisco Writers Conference are:

Jonathan Maberry is a New York Times best-selling author and 5-time Bram Stoker Award winner, his writing includes young adult, comic books, anthologies, and magazine feature articles. He is also a playwright and a teacher. It was just announced that Alcon Entertainment has acquired film and TV rights to his young adult zombie fiction series Rot & Ruin. And Jonathan is the founder of The Writers Coffeehouse which meets in several cities around the country…including San Francisco. We are beyond excited to have him share not only his writing expertise, but his spirit of community for writers.

Walter Mosley is the author of more than 43 critically acclaimed books, including the bestselling mystery series featuring Easy Rawlins. His work includes literary fiction, science fiction, political monographs, and a young adult novel. His nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times Magazine and The Nation, among other publications. He is the winner of numerous awards, including an O. Henry Award, a Grammy and PEN America’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Brooke Warner is publisher of She Writes Press and SparkPress, president of Warner Coaching Inc., and author of Write On, Sisters!, Green-light Your Book, What’s Your Book?, and three books on memoir. Brooke is a TEDx speaker, weekly podcaster (of “Write-minded” with co-host Grant Faulkner of NaNoWriMo), and the former Executive Editor of Seal Press. She’s the current Chairperson of the Independent Book Publishers Association and writes a monthly column for Publishers Weekly.
