In her podcast this week, comedian and keynote speaker Jan McInnis talks about the rules of comedy. She mentions that there's really only one rule if you're working in a comedy club, but she came up with some additional rules that she follows for her comedy career.

"Whatever venture you take on, make sure you develop your own set of rules to guide you. I did early on in my comedy career without knowing it. I just came up with things that I would and wouldn't do," McInnis mentions.

Her podcast is produced every Thursday and it's titled Comedian Stories - Tales From the Road in under 5 Minutes.
