A new website has launched with the specific goal of making it easier to find the right words to politely and firmly reject someone or something. The rejection letter templates at RejectionLetters.net are free to download, edit and print.
"These letters provide a jumping-off point for crafting a perfect letter," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Just find a letter similar to your personal or professional situation and adjust the wording as-needed."
Wording is key when rejecting a business proposal, a personal suggestion or a financial situation. RejectionLetters.net has letters in a variety of topics. Job rejection letters include: a basic letter, a follow-up letter and letters rejecting interns or summer associate applicants.
Rejection letters relating to money matters cover turning down a donation request or grant funding and rejecting a personal loan request. The site also has letters rejecting rental applicants
Personal rejections can be especially delicate. RejectionLetters.net has letters with suggested wording for: cutting off contact with someone, declining to be part of a wedding party and refusing an invitation to the prom.
The letters download instantly in DOC format for easy editing in Microsoft Word or another compatible program. Or, users can simply cut and paste the text directly from the site. The templates at RejectionLetters.net should not be considered legal advice.
"I created RejectionLetters.net with 20 letters and will be adding more soon," Savetz said. "I'm always open to user suggestions."
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
