The Herman Trend Alert

December 5, 2018

Power to the People

Note to readers: We have been working on this Herman Trend Alert for months. Not only were we waiting for confirmation of implementation, but we were also challenged to describe this advanced power generation system in a way that most of us would be able to understand. We hope we succeeded.

A breakthrough for the electric power grid

For the first time, the electric power grid of the US can work as a fully integratable singular system, delivering both power and advanced communications. DeltaECI has solved the problem of securely harnessing the excess capacity available at the distribution end of the electric power grid. With the help of Intel's new chip sets, DeltaECI brings full 5G capacity and near-real-time speed to broadband networks that connect through the distribution grid. This solution may be installed wherever people or businesses use electric power. Remarkably, DeltaECI's solution can eliminate power theft and improve privacy/security while helping utilities realize the benefits of big data analytics.

Providing real, full scale 5G internet service

Most so-called 5G is not really 5G, but only service labeled that way to fish for people who will pay for enhanced service. (5G stands for "5th Generation.") DeltaECI invented and field-tested a disruptive and universally friendly, real-time 5G network that reduces technical costs by up to a whopping 90 percent, though by the time it is fully installed, such cost savings are closer to 50 percent.

Very profitable disruption

Though Delta is disrupting the marketplace, the reduction in cost allows all of the players to make money---DeltaECI and the communications resellers. This first US installation will occur in the rural regions surrounding Tulsa and will create the first authentically smart city in the world.

An easy and inexpensive conversion

Using Intel's chipsets, DeltaECI's hardware-software combo is compatible with any previous energy grid system. Being "platform agnostic" like this system minimizes the cost of implementation. DeltaECI extends this compatibility through its first-to-market alliance with Intel. The total cost is very small compared to the cultural and economic value created. Dr. Jefferson Stewart, core team consultant for DeltaECI, says "It's like moving from an old-fashioned 'ice box' to a brand-new, modern refrigerator."

A non-profit component with every installation

Wherever in the world the company installs their Delta Smart Grid NetworkTM, at the same time, the company establishes a public private partnership aimed at supporting people's basic needs. In South Africa, for example, DeltaECI entered a Collaboration Agreement with "an international non-profit organization seeking to end all forms of human poverty by providing life-changing resources in the midst of unimaginable hardships," called Food for the Hungry. Such non-profit accountability scales as the Delta Global Network (DGN) grows.

What is coming?

We see DeltaECI's new technology as transformational for electric power grids worldwide and potentially for all smart city utilities and facilities. We love DeltaECI-DGN's social responsibility and see this advance as foundational to the increased safety, security/privacy, and system integrity of energy and communications for people everywhere.
