Air Supply

On Thursday, May 10th, the '80s soft rock duo Air Supply will perform at Plymouth Memorial Hall. Known best for the 80s singles " All out of Love" and "Making Love Out of Nothing at All", vocalist Russell Hitchcock and vocalist/guitarist Graham Russell have been making music together for more than four decades.

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. and concludes at 10:00 p.m. Tickets cost between $69 and $89.

ABOUT PLYMOUTH MEMORIAL HALL

Plymouth Memorial Hall is located in the heart of historic downtown Plymouth within short walking distance of Plymouth Rock. Since 1924 Plymouth Memorial Hall has seen many events through the years, from Twisted Sister, and Bob Dylan, to smaller events such as dance competitions, and wrestling events.  The Hall has been used for many weddings and receptions in addition to the local High schools' graduation and the Police Academy Graduation. The Plymouth Philharmonic calls Memorial Hall home for their shows throughout the year.

In 2004 Memorial Hall underwent a $7M renovation to restore the space as well as add a few upgrades.

Memorial Hall is municipally-owned and operated with a dedicated Hall Manager who oversees the Facility and all Special Events bookings.

ABOUT AIR SUPPLY: Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell formed the band Air Supply in 1975 in Sydney, Australia. They recorded music under CBS Records, a branch of the North America-based label company Columbia Records.  Their debut album in 1976 was certified gold in Australia. In the same year, that success led them to be the opening band for musician Rod Stewart's tours of Australia, Canada, and the United States

However, Air Supply did not break through just the Australian music scene until their fourth album Lost in Love, released in 1980. That album consisted of three Top 5 songs on the charts in the United States: "Lost in Love", "All out of Love", and "Every Woman in the World". In 1983, their ballad "Making Love Out of Nothing all All" was a new song included in their Greatest Hits Album, which sold an estimated seven million copies.

Air Supply has performed their music worldwide, including concerts in China, Taiwan, Israel, England, Ireland, and the Philippines. In 1988, at the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Australia, the band performed per the request of Princess Diana and Prince Charles of England, who were big fans.

In 2005, Air Supply released The Singer and the Song, an album of acoustic covers of their biggest songs. Their last studio album, Mumbo Jumbo, came out in 2010. They conducted a fortieth anniversary of their debut album in 2016.
