On the Move: Vision360 Names Precision SVP Farber as Partner

Vision360 Partners brings on Precision Strategies SVP Jen Farber as a partner in the firm. Before joining Precision, Farber was managing director at Firehouse Strategies, senior director at Purple Strategies and VP at GMMB. Farber will be based in Vision360’s Washington, DC headquarters working with Boulder, CO-based partner Allison Haley, who was previously an SVP at the firm and has also worked at Global Strategy Group. As partners, Farber and Haley will help set strategy and manage operations of the firm while continuing to oversee their own rosters of clients. Vision360 also promoted Natalie Pavlatos, who leads several of the firm’s public affairs engagements, and Caitlin Gullickson, who leads several of its litigation communications engagements, to SVPs. “We are incredibly fortunate to have a growing first-class leadership team helping our clients succeed by consistently delivering high quality work that is strategic, creative and effective,” said Vision360 Parnters co-founder and managing partner Bob Chlopak.

Orthofix Medical, a global spine and orthopedics company that distributes its products in more than 60 countries worldwide, hires Julie Dewey as chief investor relations and communications officer. Dewey most recently served as chief communications and investor relations officer for Treace Medical Concepts, and she was previously SVP and CCO at Wright Medical Group, a medical device company. She is known for her strong focus on transformative IR program development, successfully positioning medical technology companies in the financial market, and expanding outreach and engagement with the investment community. “She is deeply respected within the industry and brings with her vast knowledge of our markets, technologies, and growth strategies,” said Orthofix president and CEO Massimo Calafiore.

Miami Dade College, the largest college in the Florida College System with more than 100,000 students, names Travis Jordan as VP for marketing and communications. Jordan was previously chief marketing and communications officer at Western Carolina University. Before that, he served as VP of marketing at Enterprise Florida, an economic development program that is a public–private partnership between Florida’s business and government leaders. He was also statewide director of marketing and recruitment for the Florida Department of Education. In his new role, Jordan will oversee advertising, marketing, media relations, social media and web services for MDC. “With his multifaceted skill set in advertising, media relations, strategic messaging and brand management, as well as a proven history of transformative leadership within prestigious higher education institutions, organizations and state agencies, I am sure he will take MDC to new heights,” said MDC president Madeline Pumariega.
