On the Move: Taylor Joins Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute hires Goldie Taylor to serve as senior vice president, chief communication and marketing officer, effective Feb. 28. Taylor succeeds Steven Singer, who is retiring after 25 years with Dana-Farber. She joins the Institute from the Morehouse School of Medicine, where she is currently chief marketing officer. Taylor was previously chief marketing and communications officer at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority; senior vice president, strategic initiatives at NBC News; and a vice president at Edelman. In her new role she will lead the work to frame the Institute’s accomplishments and contributions; ensure consistent, integrated messages across traditional and emerging communications; and advance internal engagement “Goldie is a proven leader with extensive, cross-disciplinary experience,” said Dana-Farber president and CEO Laurie H. Glimcher.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America names Dvon Williams chief communications officer. Williams joins the organization from the National 4-H Council, where she served as senior director, PR and celebrity relations. She was previously national marketing director at Boys & Girls Clubs of America and worked in Edelman’s health and consumer brands division. At BBBSA, Williams will lead external and internal communications, thought leadership and influencer relations. "She brings a wealth of communications experience, strategic storytelling ability, and personal passion to help elevate our powerful story of youth mentorship," said BBBSA president and CEO Artis Stevens.

Hawkeye, a digital marketing agency that is part of Publicis Groupe, appoints Tina Posey as chief executive officer. Posey joins Hawkeye after 26 years at Omnicom Group, where she most recently served as CEO of Javelin Agency. She succeeds W. Joe DeMiero as Hawkeye’s CEO and will report to Publicis Digital Experience Group U.S. CEO Jem Ripley. "Tina is the perfect choice to lead Hawkeye as we continue to level up our industry-leading CRM and Commerce solutions to make an impact for the brands we serve,” said Ripley.
