On the Move: Golin Names Beringer AI Chief

Golin, an Interpublic Group agency, appoints Jeff Beringer as the company's first-ever chief AI officer. Beringer, who has been with the agency for 20 years, previously served as its global president, digital. As CAIO, his responsibilities will include driving AI innovation, upskilling Golin's workforce and helping design future AI-driven client service models that solidify the agency's competitive edge. He also will collaborate with IPG to leverage unique Interpublic assets, technologies and strategic partnerships for the benefit of Golin’s teams and clients. “By appointing Jeff as our chief AI officer and embarking on an ambitious AI transformation plan, our clear goal is for Golin to be the first fully AI-integrated global PR agency,” said Golin CEO Matt Neale.

Seven Letter, part of PPHC, promotes Annalyse Keller to partner and ups Maura Hogan and Kara O’Connell to managing director. Keller, who was previously a managing director, hosts Seven Letter’s CONTROL podcast. Before coming to the firm, she served as communications director for Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO). In her new position, she will continue as co-host of CONTROL and increase her role on the business development team. Hogan, who will be based out of the firm’s Boston office, has most recently served as a senior director. Prior to joining Seven Letter, she was an SVP at BCW Global and worked at State Street. She will now take on more responsibilities in business development for clients. O’Connell will be managing director of Seven Letter Labs, the agency’s digital offering. She has previously served as a senior director and content specialist. All three will see increased client management responsibilities, additional staff management roles and new external leadership opportunities.

Blackbaud, a software company serving the nonprofit and education sectors, companies committed to social responsibility and individual change makers, appoints Tom Barth as head of investor relations. For the past 10 years, Barth has led IR at Akamai Technologies, and earlier in his career worked at Progress Software, Nuance Communications and PTC. A decorated military veteran, he held a variety of leadership roles within the U.S. Air Force, including serving as aide-de-camp and press secretary to Air Force General Chuck Horner, who led the Desert Shield/Storm Coalition Air Forces. At Blackbaud, Barth will be responsible for defining and leading a broad-based program to maximize the company's shareholder value. "With his global experience and deep knowledge in the public software company space, he will be an asset to the company as we continue to execute our strategic initiatives to drive long-term profitable growth,” said Blackbaud EVP and CFO Tony Boor.
