Allied Global Marketing promotes Danyelle McGill to senior VP of influencers and social. McGill has played an integral role in starting the influencer and social service lines at AGM and has grown them into a central part of the agency. Before joining Allied, she was director of strategic marketing at 87AM, running and managing social campaigns. In her new role, McGill will lead influencer campaigns across the streaming, theatrical, culture and hospitality sectors spanning North America, EMEA, APAC and LatAm, including clients such as Disney, Hulu, Merlin Entertainments, One World Observatory and FELD Entertainment. “She has revolutionized our approach to campaigns, bringing together data, creativity and innovative thinking,” said AGM chief of marketing operations Kelly Estrella.

Hubilo Technologies, an online events platform, hires Erik Newton as CMO. Newton comes to the company from Milestone, where he was vice president of marketing, overseeing customer acquisition, product marketing, and marketing communications. He has also held senior marketing posts at BrightEdge, TiVo and Netflix. "Erik brings a depth and breadth of hands-on marketing knowledge to Hubilo along with a reputation for visionary thinking that connects business strategy and marketing to drive results," said Hubilo Co-Founder and CEO Vaibhav Jain.

Catalyst Spirits, the maker of Howler Head Bourbon, names Ed Bello global SVP of marketing. Bello most recently led the North American luxury of global drinks company Diageo. He previously served as US and global brand director for Diageo’s Bulleit Frontier Whiskey. Before coming to Diageo, Bello was at Proctor & Gamble for 13 years, where he headed marketing efforts for brands including Folgers and Pringles. “Ed brings an incomparable level of experience in the whiskey and global beverage space, including extensive consumer insight-driven marketing knowledge from Procter & Gamble,” said Catalyst Spirits CEO Simon Hunt.
