On the Move: Acadia Pharmaceuticals Names Kildani IR Chief

Acadia Pharmaceuticals appoints Albert Kildani as senior VP, investor relations and corporate communications. Kildani joins the company from Halozyme Therapeutics, where he was VP, investor relations and corporate communications, helping to guide the company’s transition from early drug development stage to a profitable biopharmaceutical company. He has also overseen investor relations and business development at Vital Therapies and investor relations at Hologic and Gen-probe Incorporated. At Acadia, Kildani will lead investor relations and corporate communications and serve as a member of the company’s executive management committee. “His deep experience working within companies and on Wall Street, his strong network of relationships, and his proven expertise in building shareholder value will be instrumental as we continue to advance our global business strategy,” said Acadia executive VP, chief financial officer Mark Schneyer.

BeaverTails Canada, which sells artisanal pastries at 195 locations in Canada and the US, along with international distribution licenses in countries including France and Qatar, hires Michelle Aboud as VP of marketing. Aboud was most recently senior VP, managing director at McCann Montreal, and she has held executive posts at bleublancrouge and DDB Canada. At BeaverTails, Aboud will oversee the company’s marketing and branding efforts and work to shape communications strategies to amplify its presence in Canada, as well as supporting expansion efforts to new markets. "She is a business-savvy marketer with a deep appreciation for creativity, which makes her uniquely placed to lead our marketing efforts,” said BeaverTails CEO Pino Di Ioia.

RethinkFirst, an SaaS software and solutions provider in the behavioral health sector, appoints Lorelei Lenzen Skillman as CMO. Skillman most recently served as chief marketing and communications at investment management technology company Enfusion. She previously held CMO and executive marketing roles at companies including EY, the New York Stock Exchange and BNY Mellon. At RethinkFirst, Skillman will oversee marketing across all of the company’s divisions. “Her unwavering commitment to the customer experience and record of generating notable bottom-line impact will help us deepen our existing customer relationships and extend our reach across the globe," said RethinkFirst CEO Daniel Etra.
