Lambert Global acquires Roy Public Affairs Management, a communications and policy advocacy firm serving clients throughout Michigan. With the acquisition, Lambert’s new public affairs offering will include communications, advocacy, economic development, community engagement, government relations and lobbying. Roy Public Affairs will immediately start integrating into Lambert operations, starting with go-to-market planning and transitioning a client roster that includes the Autism Alliance of Michigan, Downtown Detroit Partnership, Kids Kicking Cancer, TEMO Inc. and other local and regional companies and non-profits. Roy Public Affairs founder and principal Melissa Roy joins Lambert as Detroit managing partner and will lead the firm’s public affairs practice. "Our organizations have closely aligned values and approaches to measurable outcomes and impact,” said Lambert CEO Michelle Olson.

MacMillan Communications, which works with finance industry clients, launches its new brand: Craft & Capital. Craft & Capital will continue to be headquartered in New York and will also have team members working in-market in Los Angeles, Boston and other parts of the country. The rebrand comes along with a new website (www.craftandcapital.com), which features a refreshed look, new color scheme, and more detailed information for clients and potential clients. “Under our new name, we look forward to remaining a crucial conduit connecting the thoughts of industry-leading clients with industry-moving journalists,” said Craft & Capital vice president Aaron Siegel.

Truescope, an Australian media intelligence company, acquires Omaha-based Universal Information Systems. The merger of the UIS brand and business to Truescope will take place take place over the next few months and migration of UIS clients to Truescape is underway. UIS chief executive officer Todd Murphy will take over as Truescope president, North America. Truescope founder and CEO John Croll said the acquisition was a significant move on the company’s part to accelerate its growth in the US media intelligence market. “Todd’s leadership, the Universal team’s decades-long local expertise and loyal client base, coupled with Truescope’s technology, will enable us to deliver a powerful an truly unparalleled service,” said Croll.
