A handy new website called PaperSizeReference.com instantly displays paper sizes and even visually compares sizes with one another.
"PaperSizeReference.com is a convenient resource for everyone from graphic designers to crafters to companies that do business internationally," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator who also offers printable paper at PrintablePaper.net and printable planners at PrintablePlanners.net. "Simply choose a paper size from the drop-down menu and you'll instantly see the size overlaid on a letter-size sheet."
The site also displays the standard and dimensions of the width and height in both millimeters and inches. The standards include American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Architects Standard (Arch), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), United Kingdom (UK), and United States (US).
For example, if a user selects A5 paper, they will see that it's ISO standard and its dimensions are 148mm by 210 mm or 5.8 inches by 8.3 inches. Then they can click to compare A5 paper to any of the dozens of paper sizes covered at PaperSizeReference.com.
"This site is a natural complement to my 100-plus FreePrintable.net sites, which offer printable signs, certificates, business forms, coloring pages and much more," Savetz said. "Other helpful sites I've developed in the last year include WhatIsThepH.com for seeing the pH of various acids, bases and common substances. Plus, there are several math resources: AsAFraction.com for fractions, AsAPercent.com for percentages and SimplifyFractions.com for simplifying."
There are more than 100 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites and educational tools created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
