As Christmas approaches, SantaPrintables.com is offering 24 new letters from Santa, each one illustrated with holiday-themed borders of presents, trees and ornaments.
"The whole month of December is a great time for kids, and letters to and from Santa can help build that excitement and expectation for the holidays," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "These letters can be printed from a home computer and customized for unique situations."
Each letter from Santa can be used to address different situations that children might encounter. There are sample letters covering why a present has to be delivered early, the reasons Santa can't bring a puppy or a new baby, promises to replace a broken or defective toy, and how parents function as Santa Helpers.
For children who are asking difficult or serious questions, parents can find helpful resources, such as a Santa concern letterthat discusses his historical origins as St. Nicholas, a letter that explains how he travels the world in one night, a letter that addressing bullying among reindeer, and a letter about whether or not he's breaking and entering in the family home.
There are also several letters from Andy, the Magic Elf. There's a naughty notice that cites bad behavior, a letter about why the elf didn't move overnight, and a letter consoling a child who touched the elf when not supposed to. Many of the Andy the Elf letters are written in rhyming verse.
In addition to the Santa and Elf letters, SantaPrintables.com also has letters from Rudolph and Mrs. Claus. There are templates for children to fill out when writing to Santa, gender-specific letters, and also Christmas-themed games and activities.
