Michigan’s Premier Wedding Destination Now Offers Off-Site Catering

Plymouth, MI - The Meeting House Grand Ballroom has announced an off-premise catering option of their unique, top-quality food. Located in downtown Plymouth, the Meeting House has an unsurpassed reputation for hosting elegant wedding receptions and other functions.

"Many family gatherings, graduation, birthday or other parties have been moved outside this summer, due to Covid 19," says Todd Osann, co-owner with his wife Tracy Osann. "We are here to create your memorable occasion by planning and preparing a complete menu of locally-sourced food that is delicious, tailored to your celebration and delivered to your door."

Their extensive menu features appetizers, entrees and sides along with a selection of house wines. The appetizer choices include caprese salad skewers, shrimp cocktail, blackened steak tips with wild mushroom demi-glaze and more. There are a variety of entrees including flank steak, meatballs, Italian sausage, blackened catfish, chicken breast and others. There are 12 different sides available including favorites like chilled pasta primavera, baked mac and cheese and mixed garden vegetables. Delivery is available within a 20-mile radius or a pick-up option is also available.

All of the food is prepared by executive chef Randy Osann, Todd's twin brother. Randy graduated from Johnson and Wales Culinary School and has worked at number of local restaurants including The Golden Mushroom, Charlie's Crab and The University of Michigan M Dining.

In a review from The Knot, one of their very happy wedding customers wrote, "People (including us) are still absolutely raving about the food at the Meeting House three months later."

The Meeting House is celebrating its 55th year in Plymouth. They are a family owned and operated banquet facility and the staff has many years of hospitality experience. Todd and Tracy Osann have managed the day to day operations since 2014, and pride themselves in their commitment to their clients' satisfaction. Todd, the grandson of the original owner Ralph Lorenz, is a Schoolcraft College culinary school graduate and spent 20 years at the Sheraton in Ann Arbor.
