Judy Shenefeld, President, FIABCI-USA, the U.S. Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the only non-governmental organization (NGO) awarded Special Consultative Status to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations invited Buckley to be the Keynote speaker, on Thursday, 22 October 2009, at 12:00 p.m. , Private Dining Rooms 6-8 at the United Nations at FIABCI?s 60th Anniversary Special Luncheon.

Professor Michael P. Buckley, BA, BSc, MA, President of Halcyon Ltd, a Development advisory firm, has earned a reputation for Mixed-Use Retail and Strategic Planning for under-utilized sites such as the revitalization of Coney Island, New York and the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. He recently completed a Strategic Organizational Strategy with a focus on China, and serves as a Mixed-Use Advisor for IMC Center in Qingdao, China, NYC?s East Side Access/Grand Central Transportation project, the new Bio-Science City, Puerto Rico, Air City in Inchon, Korea and other projects throughout the USA. He serves on the Board of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate.
