A new tool kit for insurance agents marketing Medicare Supplement insurance has been made available by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI).
"Medicare Open Enrollment starts October 7, the busiest time of the year for every insurance professional helping their clients and prospects understand their choices and any changes that will impact their coverage," states Jesse Slome, director of the organization. "Congress passed some really significant changes taking effect in 2020 that people are just starting to become aware of."
"For many agents, the 62 days of Open Enrollment will be their busiest in years and that can be a very good thing," Slome explains. "To support agents who market Medicare Supplement and other options, the Association has created a Tool Kit consisting of prepared press releases and information to send to local radio stations."
"Insurance professionals who want to educate seniors in their area perform a valuable service," Slome adds. "The tool kit is designed to generate articles in local newspapers as well as interviews with the many small radio stations that broadcast in smaller and mid-sized markets."
The tool kit will be made available at no charge to all agents listed on the Association's Directory Of Local Medicare Insurance Agents. The kit is available to non-listed agents for a nominal charge with information available at www.medicaresupp.org/tools19.
The nation's largest online directory of local Medicare insurance agents enables consumers to find and connect with knowledgeable, local Medicare agents in their immediate area. There is no charge to access the Zip Code based directory and no sign-in information required to access the directory at www.medicaresupp.org/agents.
